Interestingly enough, the Super Soaker 50 is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary, and has been lightly re-designed but the package stays the same. Created in 1989 by a Rocket scientist, the Super Soaker 50 was revolutionary, and after years off the market can be had once again. For the time, the Super Soaker 50 was unmatched in its power, range, and craftsmanship… and 20 years later is still no clunker. If you’ve got little kids in need of a first super soaker, why not buy the original Super Soaker 50 that we grew up with. Also makes a nice item for collectors as the box is about the same as it was 20 years ago. If you’re not interested in the Super Soaker 50, there are still very many original super soakers online, or at least ones that compare to the ones we all loved.
